We are committed to minimizing the risks of spreading Covid19 and other pathogens.

All regulations under the national laws and the health system will be complied with, and all changes between now and the beginning of the congress that occur to these regulations will be considered.
Face mask and sanitizers will be available at all venues.
Special attention and care will be given to vulnerable and fragile people.
Food and beverages will be distributed and consumed mainly outdoor.
The welcome kit distributed at the registration desk will include the rules that the participants should follow to reduce the risks of infection.

If a talk will result particularly popular, and the room overcrowded, the streaming will allow to follow the talk on their personal device outside the room.

Sigfrida (the professional SMBE2023 organizing company) staff members and SMBE2023 volunteers will help delegates at higher risk from COVID-19 who contact us in advance (smbe2023@unife.it) or onsite to minimize risks: for example, indicating less crowded rooms or less crowded stands for the coffee breaks, or providing additional face masks and hand sanitizer. Staff members and volunteers will also be equipped with the phone numbers of medical guards and ambulance staff for any medical emergency that might happen during the conference
